Hand cord?

The simplest form of fishing: line, hook, and direct casting in the hand.

Fishing without a rod: the line is wound on a hand reel and cast or dropped, feeling the direct bite on the fingers. Simple and economical, it is widely used from piers, breakwaters and boats.
